La colère petite
I love how he throws himself into the flop position when he realizes I won't let him explore under the fir tree. Other than that, he quite enjoyed his snow adventure. He only decided he wanted to go back inside when the neighbor's Weimaraner came flying out their patio door.

Will Franny Eat It?
On tonight's episode of Will Franny Eat It?, we investigate the nomability of broccoli. Why? Because I was stir frying veggies and overfilled the pan, and when I bent down to pick up some broccoli pieces that had jumped out, I found NONE. What I found instead was a little black dog greedily smacking her lips. The same little black dog who, just over a year ago, refused to eat anything remotely veggie-like.

Franny vs. the Butterfly Bush
Frances loves sticks. I don't normally want her to play with sticks, onna counta YOU'LL PUT YOUR EYE OUT. Also she is missing a couple of teeth, and I don't want her damaging the ones she has left or worse, swallowing a piece of stick and poking a hole in her GI tract. So many worries! Franny does not care, though, about any of that. She just wants to play with sticks. Imagine the expression on her face when she realized that there was a stick bush in her yard. It was epic, yo. And then she promptly commenced to destroying it. Like ya' do.
The butterfly bush was in desperate need of pruning, so all's well that ends well.

Happy Got Day, Miss Franny McGee!
We celebrated with many hats and also a breakfast of poached egg on toast. Piglet had to get in on the act, too, which Franny was fine with. She's an awfully good girl. It's hard to believe I've had her for a year.

Om Nom Nom
When I got Frances, she would not eat fruits and veggies. Nothankyou, ma'am! I've kept offering them to her, over and over and over again, and she has finally decided that they are for eating. Garlic dill pickles, tomatoes, green beans, carrots, apples, and clementines. Today's success was green peppers.

Crows
Every winter, the crows come to Bloomington. Thousands and thousands and thousands of them, all over town. This small group was congregating near the lot where I park my car.
